Terms and conditions
■ Enrollment ■
Enrollment for private courses is possible every week, all year round depending on teacher and classroom availability.
Enrollment for one year group course is possible up to 4 weeks before class starts.
Enrollment for course and leisure packs is possible up to 2 weeks before class starts.
To confirm your enrollment, please fill in the on-line enrollment document and we will contact you via email upon reception of your filled in document. A level test will be sent to you straight away. After correction of your test, we will suggest a suitable class.
For group courses of one year, a 30% deposit is required if you do not wish to pay the whole amount upfront. The total amount must be paid one month before class begins, at the latest.
If you are using our accommodation and transport services, thank you for paying them at the same time.
■ Payment ■
You can pay by cheque, by bank transfer or via PayPal.
All tuition fees must be paid in full 24 hours before the beginning of a class. Payments can be made by:
• Bank transfer to the account of L’Atelier des Langues
PLEASE NOTE, if you choose this method of payment, thank you for sending us a copy of the bank transfer certificate.
• Bank cheques (NO travellers’ cheque, NO international bank cheque)
• Via our PayPal account
■ Cancellation and Refund ■
Private and Semi-private courses:
All private and semi-private class must be cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled time. Otherwise, you will not be entitled to a refund for the cancelled class.
No refund is possible once the course has begun.
Course + activities packs :
Any cancellation will be communicated with a minimum of 3 weeks’ notice.
All cancellations will incur a 50 euros charge to cover administrative and bank charges.
For any cancellation under 20 days before the beginning of the course: no refund will be granted.
One-year mini-group course :
* Any cancellation will have to be notified in advance by certified mail.
For any cancellation received over 21 days prior to starting dates: A refund will be possible, except for accommodation and transport fees. All cancellations will incur a 50 euros charge to cover administrative and bank charges.
For any cancellation under 20 days prior to starting dates: No refund will be made.
No refund will be possible after a pre-inscription certificate required for visa delivery has been issued.
However, if the visa is refused, and after sending the original copy of the refusal by the French authorities, we will refund the total amount of the course except for a 50 Euros penalty fee to cover administrative and bank charges.
Bank national holidays are neither recoverable nor refundable.
In case of unexpected absence to a mini group class, you will not be entitled to a refund and no catch up will be possible.
We commit to a total refund, should we be unable to enroll you in the session of your choice.
L’Atelier des Langues has the right to cancel a class in case of an insufficient number of enrolled students. In this case, the student, whose course has been cancelled, will be entitled to receive a total refund of his/her payment OR convert his/her group class into private classes by using the existing payment.

■ Insurance ■
We recommend that you take out an insurance that includes medical, transport guarantees and civil liability.
■ General conditions ■
Our courses are open to persons of at least 17 years of age.
3 h classes with only one student will be shortened to 2h.
Private and semi-private classes must be undertaken within 3 months following the 1st class.
Students arriving more than 20 minutes late will not be accepted in class.
Students cannot change level class without the teacher’s agreement.
L’Atelier des Langues has the right to set the course timetable.
The enrollment to one of our courses implies full acceptance of all all our terms and conditions.
The legal jurisdiction, in case of a dispute, lies with the Parisian Tribunals.
